Also worth noting is that I'm super duper pale-faced, so take my comments about white-cast with a grain of salt.Īs I found out more and more about the skincare world and the need for both UVB & UVA coverage, I figured out that I needed a sunscreen with a fairly high percentage of zinc oxide (15%+) to combat photoaging. I don't want anything crazy special, I just want my skin to look like skin. I like a sunscreen that doesn't dry me out and essentially just acts as a second moisturizer, but still lets my skin breathe. This journey was a 3 year chronicle of finding out what my skin liked and didn't like, how I wanted my skin to look, and finding formulations that met my needs.
